I am qualified and trained to guide in the South West of England The West Country This region of the UK includes: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire, with towns and cities like Truro and Falmouth, Exeter and Plymouth, Bath and Bristol.
My guiding experience and qualifications include not only areas of outstanding beauty (AONB) such as Dartmoor, parts of the South West Coastal Path and the Tamar valley but also the UNESCO Heritage Sites of Stonehenge, Roman Bath and the Cornish and South Devon mining districts.
I am very proud of my Cornish roots and I am thrilled to show off the county in all its Celtic splendour. The Eden project is a firm favourite with tourists and locals.
I am a member of both the Institute of Tourist Guides and the Guild of Registered Tour Guides. I qualified in 1998 and was subsequently registered as a West Country Blue Badge Guide. This prestigious qualification is recognised nationally and internationally as the benchmark for tour guiding.
After further training, in 2007, I was endorsed for Cornish Mining, one of the UKs largest UNESCO world heritage sites.
Since I qualified in 1998, I have led tours on foot, by coach, mini-bus and by boat. My private and corporate work includes coach tours, walks and talks as incentives for corporate conferences and seminars.
My local work in Cornwall and Devon has included events, festivals, weddings and retirement parties
